ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES (PHYSICAL) FOR ICAME 2026 PARTICIPANTS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The conference will be held on 13-15 September 2026 at Tamu Hotel & Suites Kuala Lumpur.

All participants are required to register upon arrival at the conference venue.
-
Participants are advised to arrive at the venue at least 10 minutes before their scheduled presentation time to ensure a smooth and timely session.
-
Please review the conference programme in advance and take note of your assigned session, room, and presentation time.
-
Mobile phones and other electronic devices should be switched to silent mode during all conference sessions.
-
All participants are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the conference.
2. ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Presentation Duration:
-
Standard Oral Presenters: 10 minutes
-
Invited Speakers: 15 minutes
-
Q&A Session: 5 minutes for all speakers
-
Presenters are required to strictly follow the allocated presentation time. Session Chairs will enforce the time limit to ensure that the program runs smoothly.

Slide Preparation
-
Presenters are encouraged to use Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) or pdf file for their presentation.
-
All presentation slides are encouraged to use the official ICAME 2026 presentation template.

File naming convention: Paper ID_Name (e.g. T1-O-A01_Ahmad Ali Idris)
-
Presenters are advised to bring a USB drive containing a backup copy of their presentation.

Please note that the Best Presenter Award will be announced at the end of each parallel session, immediately after all presentations have concluded.
Presenters should refer to the conference schedule for their assigned presentation and Q&A session times.

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES (VIRTUAL) FOR ICAME 2026 PARTICIPANTS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The deadline for video submission is 10 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Malaysia Time).
-
Participants are advised to join the virtual conference session at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time to resolve any potential technical difficulties.
-
Presenters are required to be online during the video playback and the 5-minutes Q&A session to address questions from participants in real time
-
Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection during the session.
2. VIDEO PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Video duration: Maximum 10 minutes
-
Q&A session duration: 5 minutes, conducted live after video playback
-
Video format:
-
The video must be submitted in MP4 format.
-
The video must clearly show the presenter on camera with their face visible throughout the presentation.
-
Presenters are encouraged to use the official ICAME 2026 virtual background and presentation slides.

All submitted videos will be checked to ensure they meet the required guidelines. If a video does not meet the requirements, the presenter will be contacted and requested to resubmit the video within the given timeframe.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES FOR ICAME 2026 PARTICIPANTS
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

All participants are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the conference.
2. POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Dimension

The poster should be an A1 size (59.4 cm x 84.1 cm) and to be mounted in a portrait orientation
-
There is no specific template for the poster layout. Poster design, layout and colour scheme are flexible.

Presenters are encouraged to ensure that the poster is clear, concise, visually appealing and easy to read.

Poster organization

The poster is advised to include the following sections:

Introduction
-
Methodology
-
Results & Discussions
-
Conclusion
-
References (ONLY important citations)
-
Please include the Poster ID clearly at the upper left corner of the poster.

Presenters may include other relevant information, figures, tables, photographs or graphical elements to support the presentation of their work.

Poster Installation
-
All poster presenters are required to mount their posters immediately after
registration on the first day of ICAME 2026. -
Once mounted, the poster should remain properly displayed throughout the designated poster exhibition period.
-
Presenters are responsible for ensuring that their posters are properly secured
and ready for viewing.

Poster Evaluation & Presentation Sessions
-
Poster evaluation will be conducted in two sessions:

Sessions

Monday (14 Sep 2026) 15:45 PM – 16:00 PM

Tuesday (15 Sep 2026) 10.00 AM – 10.30 AM

Presenters are strongly encouraged to be present at their posters during both evaluation sessions.
-
Presenters should be prepared to briefly explain their research and respond to questions from the evaluators.
-
Posters will be evaluated by appointed panel members/judges, which may include representatives from universities and/or industry.

Poster Stand & Hanging Requirements
-
Poster stands will be provided by the organizer. (Figure 1)
-
Presenters are required to print their posters and provide a suitable hanger/rope system for mounting them on the provided poster stand. (please refer Figure 2)
-
The poster should be securely mounted and displayed in the required portrait orientation.
-

Poster Removal
-
Presenters are responsible for removing their posters at the end of the designated poster exhibition period.
-
Presenters should ensure that the poster stand is left in good condition after removal.
