On behalf of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, it is my distinct honour to welcome all distinguished participants to the 9th International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering (ICAME 2026).
Anchored on the theme “Engineering Without Borders: Towards a Sustainable Future,” ICAME 2026 embodies our firm commitment to advancing engineering excellence, fostering global collaboration, and addressing pressing challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions. This conference serves as a strategic platform for leading researchers, academicians, engineers, and industry practitioners worldwide to converge, exchange knowledge, and present cutting-edge advancements across diverse domains of mechanical engineering.
As we navigate increasingly complex global challenges, the role of engineering has never been more critical. I therefore strongly encourage the submission of high-quality, impactful research that not only advances scientific understanding but also contributes meaningfully to societal progress and sustainable development.

On behalf of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in The International Conference on Advances in Mechanical Engineering 2026 (ICAME 2026).
From its humble beginnings in 2009 as a national conference, ICAME has steadily grown into an international platform that brings together researchers, academicians, and industry practitioners to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build meaningful collaborations. Today, ICAME stands as a reflection of our continuous commitment to advancing the frontiers of mechanical engineering and its related disciplines.
Guided by our conference motto, “Engineering Without Borders: Towards a Sustainable Future,” ICAME 2026 aspires to transcend geographical, disciplinary, and institutional boundaries. We aim to foster a global community of engineers who are united not only by knowledge, but by a shared responsibility to contribute towards a more sustainable and meaningful future.
ICAME 2026 is more than a conference—it is a meeting of minds, a space for innovation, and a gateway to global collaboration.
We warmly invite you to join us from 13th to 15th September 2026, either physically in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (venue to be confirmed) or virtually. Kuala Lumpur, a vibrant and dynamic city at the heart of Southeast Asia, offers not only a strategic location but also a rich cultural experience that complements academic engagement.
This conference covers a broad range of focus areas, including advanced materials, thermal and fluid sciences, manufacturing and design, sustainable engineering, and emerging interdisciplinary technologies.
